OSID-DE – Open-Area Smoke Imaging Detection System

The OSID-DE system uses a combination of Emitters and a central Imager to create projected beams across an area. Each Emitter sends synchronized UV and IR light signals, which the Imager continuously monitors. By analyzing how smoke affects each wavelength, OSID-DE accurately distinguishes smoke from dust, insects, and other obstructions.
The CMOS imaging technology gives the Imager a wide field of view, enabling it to track up to seven Emitters without requiring precise alignment. Automatic commissioning, DIP switch configuration, onboard event memory, and optional heater modules further simplify installation and operation.
It is a cost-effective and highly reliable solution for early fire detection in complex or high-risk environments.
