The Xtralis VESDA VLF-500 is a high-sensitivity, very early warning smoke detection system built for small, mission-critical environments up to 500 m². It continuously draws air from a pipe or dual-pipe sampling network and uses advanced laser-based technology to detect smoke at the earliest possible stage. With its intuitive Smoke Dial™, ultrasonic airflow sensing, intelligent learning features, and user-friendly design, the VLF-500 delivers reliable, long-term protection for high-value rooms and sensitive electrical equipment.

The Xtralis VESDA VLF-500 combines advanced laser-based absolute smoke detection with patented Ultrasonic Flow Sensing to deliver accurate, stable airflow monitoring. Designed for flexibility, it supports a single 50 m pipe or dual-pipe sampling (2 × 30 m branches), making it ideal for small rooms that require high-precision coverage.

The VLF-500 features the iconic Smoke Dial™ for real-time smoke visualization and an Instant Fault Finder™ that helps users quickly identify and diagnose issues. With AutoLearn™ Smoke and AutoLearn™ Flow, the detector automatically adjusts smoke sensitivity and airflow thresholds based on environmental behavior.
