Silent Knight SK-ISO Line Isolator Module

The Silent Knight SK-ISO Line Isolator Module is designed to protect the Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) loop in Honeywell Silent Knight fire alarm systems. It automatically isolates short circuits on the loop by opening when the line voltage drops below four volts. This ensures that if a fault occurs in one section, the rest of the system continues to operate normally without interruption.

Where It Can Be Used?

The SK-ISO is ideal for installation in commercial and industrial fire alarm systems where SLC loop protection is critical. It is commonly used in office buildings, shopping malls, hospitals, factories, warehouses, hotels, and educational institutions.

Installed between groups of detectors or modules, it prevents a single short circuit from affecting the entire loop. It mounts directly into a standard 4-inch square electrical box, making it suitable for both new installations and retrofit projects.

The Honeywell Silent Knight SK-ISO acts as an automatic switch within the SLC loop. When a short circuit occurs between two isolators, both units immediately open the circuit and isolate the affected section. Devices outside the fault area continue to function fully, maintaining system reliability and safety.

Designed for compatibility with Silent Knight Series control panels such as 6808U, 6820U, and 6820UEVS, the module features a panel-controlled LED indicator that flashes green during normal operation and turns solid red in alarm condition. Its compact design, easy wiring with SEMS screws, and standard mounting format make installation quick and efficient.
