Its main purpose is to control external powered devices such as bells, horns, and strobes directly from the Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) loop.

When activated by the FACP, the module disconnects supervision and switches the external power supply to the connected load, ensuring reliable operation and positive confirmation that the relay has activated. This makes it an essential solution for expanding notification coverage while maintaining full system supervision and safety compliance.
