IDP-ZONE-6 Six Zone Interface Module

The IDP-ZONE-6 is an advanced addressable zone interface module designed for Honeywell Farenhyt Series fire alarm control panels (FACPs). It converts conventional two-wire loops into addressable signaling line circuits (SLC), enabling seamless integration of existing conventional detectors with modern Farenhyt panels. This makes retrofitting existing buildings simple, efficient, and cost-effective.

Where It Can Be Used?

The IDP-ZONE-6 is ideal for commercial buildings, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, industrial complexes, and residential projects where conventional two-wire smoke detectors are already installed. It allows these detectors to communicate with Farenhyt FACPs, ensuring reliable fire monitoring while avoiding the need to replace existing devices. The module fits into the IDP-ACB cabinet, which can house up to two IDP-ZONE-6 modules for flexible installation.

Each input operates independently but shares a common SLC line and external power supply, enabling accurate reporting of detector status as normal, open, or alarm. With features like rotary address switches and LED indicators for each relay contact, installation and monitoring are simplified. The module is UL, CSFM, and MEA listed, ensuring top-level compliance and reliability.
