The Notifier DS-DB Digital Series Distribution Board is a key component of the Digital Voice Command (DVC) system, designed to ensure seamless audio distribution and reliable emergency communication. Working with its associated amplifiers, the DS-DB provides bulk audio amplification and supports up to four DS-AMP or DS-AMP/E amplifiers, delivering high-level risers across the facility.

The DS-DB converts digital audio signals into analog, routes them to connected amplifiers or backup units, and then redistributes the amplified signals to risers for clear evacuation messaging. Control and status data are managed through the EIA-485 communication bus, ensuring smooth operation and system supervision.

For system integration, the DS-DB communicates via the Digital Audio Loop (DAL) and is fully compatible with other devices such as DAA2 and DAX Series amplifiers. It also offers an optional firefighter’s telephone riser, enabling both local and network communication for enhanced coordination during emergencies.
