The Farenhyt SK-FML Fiber-Optic Multi-Mode Module is a plug-in fiber loop card designed to transmit and receive data between networked Farenhyt fire alarm panels. Connected through the SK-NIC (Network Interface Card), it ensures fast, interference-free communication across multiple panels in a fiber-optic network.
Engineered for multi-mode fiber, the SK-FML enhances system reliability, scalability, and signal integrity over long distances.

The module supports networking of up to 17 Farenhyt fire alarm panels, creating a robust and reliable backbone for fire alarm communication and annunciation across multiple sites.

Farenhyt SK-FML

The Farenhyt SK-FML module supports multi-mode fiber connections using ST-style connectors, allowing a maximum attenuation of 8 dB with 62.5/125 micrometer cable.
It plugs directly into the SK-NIC network card, enabling simplified installation and maintenance. Up to two fiber loop cards can be added per SK-NIC, allowing flexible configurations for networked systems.

Listed per ANSI/UL Standard 864, 9th Edition, the SK-FML ensures compliance with fire communication standards. When paired with the SK-NIC, it allows a common communication and annunciation link across multiple panels, delivering stable and reliable network performance.
