Farenhyt IDP-ISO Line Isolator Module

The Farenhyt IDP-ISO Line Isolator Module is designed to isolate short circuits on the Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) loop in Farenhyt fire alarm systems. It acts as an automatic switch that opens when the line voltage drops below four volts, ensuring that only the affected portion of the loop is isolated. This allows all other devices on the same circuit to continue functioning without interruption  enhancing system reliability and safety in every environment.

Farenhyt IDP-ISO

The Farenhyt IDP-ISO Line Isolator Module ensures the uninterrupted operation of Farenhyt Series Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACPs) by isolating shorted sections of the SLC loop. When a fault occurs, the module automatically opens the affected section while allowing communication to continue on the remaining loop.
Each isolator can protect up to 25 devices between isolators, providing flexible and reliable circuit segmentation. The IDP-ISO features a panel-controlled LED indicator that flashes green in a normal state and remains solid red during an alarm or fault condition.
It mounts easily into a standard 4-inch electrical box and utilizes SEMS screws for quick and secure wiring. The compact, robust design ensures simplified installation and dependable performance in any fire detection system.
