The IDP-BEAM-T operates on the same reliable reflective beam principle as the IDP-BEAM but includes a built-in servo-driven test filter that automatically moves into the optical path to simulate smoke. This feature enables one-touch sensitivity testing via the RTS151 Remote Test Station, ensuring full compliance with NFPA 72 annual maintenance requirements.
The device’s digital display, optical alignment system, and automatic gain control make installation and upkeep straightforward, even in dusty or hard-to-access environments.
