EC5000R Reflective Beam Smoke Detector
The EC5000R combines a transmitter and receiver into a single unit, working with a reflector positioned opposite the detector. The unit projects an invisible infrared beam, and when smoke interrupts the beam path, it reduces the light intensity received, which is then analyzed to determine alarm conditions.
The system includes a ground-level controller with an LCD display for easy testing and maintenance, supports up to two detector heads, and incorporates automatic alignment and compensation for building movement or contamination. This intelligent design ensures long-term reliability, flexibility, and simplified servicing.
