Intelligent Fire Alarm Systems iO64
The iO64 is designed to monitor and manage up to 64 intelligent devices on a single addressable loop. It provides two Class B Notification Appliance Circuits (NACs) with optional Class A wiring via the SA-CLA module. With features like pre-alarm verification, adjustable detector sensitivity, and remote annunciation, the iO64 ensures both safety and reliability in commercial and residential settings.

The device is built to support one loop Class B or Class A with a maximum of 64 devices and two Class B (Style Y) Notification Appliance Circuits by default, but if needed, it is also possible to have a Class A (Style Z) configuration. In addition, to the main outputs, there are two auxiliary 24 VDC outputs at 500 mA each, which can be used to supply detectors and other devices.

Concerning communication and networking, there is an optional Ethernet (SA-ETH) module for IP monitoring, RS-232, or USB interfaces for programming, and remote annunciator support for up to eight devices. The user interface consists of a 4x20 backlit LCD, two programmable switches with LEDs, and custom labeling for the zones.

Ground fault detection, pre-alarm verification, adjustable sensitivity, and meeting the requirements of UL 864 and NFPA 72 standards are among the safety features offered by the system. It is also capable of being retrofitted, thus it can be combined with the existing wiring and conventional devices by using the RZI16-2 module for simple upgrades. The battery backup supports sealed lead-acid batteries, giving up to 24 hours of standby operation or 60 hours of extended operation.
